AMIR JAFFER

Amir is an award-winning filmmaker and content producer with over 15 years of experience. He has produced documentaries, features, short films, music videos, branding videos and several web-series.

As a filmmaker, Amir realized that the growing number of LGBTQIA+ filmmakers don’t have many opportunities to screen their movies, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area market. This motivated him and a few other artists and filmmakers to create the SF Queer Film Fest to provide another platform for Queer filmmakers to showcase their work.

Besides founding the festival, Amir co-founded Eclectic Media Lab - a San Francisco-based production company in 2018 and another production company called Cinema 3.0 in 2016.
